Residue Carryover Testing.

A company representative will visit your department every two months, when convenient to conduct the residue test. This is carried out on an instrument taken at the end of the washing process from each washer disinfector i.e. 3 x machines = 3 x identical instruments for testing purposes.

All findings will be documented for historical evidence and left with the unit managers, a back up copy can be kept on file at Serchem in case of filing errors.

pH Level Testing.

When the residue testing is being conducted, the representative will retrieve a sample of the wash water from each machine. This sample will be tested to verify that the correct amount of detergent is present in the washing process to achieve a satisfactory standard of cleanliness, also a pH reading is taken to ensure the correct level of alkaline is achieved.
